Senior Club (in-person meetings are currently paused)
Residents of the Wood Dale Park District who are 55 years of age and older, are invited to join the club. The Senior Club offers many fun activities such as guest speakers, entertainment, bingo, door prizes, blood pressure testing, discussion of community issues, and an opportunity to socialize with friends.
Regular monthly meetings are held at the Wood Dale Park District Recreation Complex in the Senior Room on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 10:30am – 2:00pm. You may bring a sack lunch if you’d like (on non-lunch serving months), coffee will be provided.
There is a $15.00 membership fee per year as voted and approved by the general membership in April 2004. The membership runs from May through April. This fee is to be paid to the Senior Club at a Senior Club Meeting only.
Adult Trips (currently paused)
Adults 40+ years are invited to enjoy trips together to enjoy new experiences, special events, restaurants, performances, as well as some over-night trips to exciting locations.
All older adults, age 60 and better, are eligible to receive 15% off of a fitness program. Look for programs with a key icon next to the class to see if a discount is available. Please note: one discount is allowed per program. The key icon and fitness studio icon may NOT be used at that same time.
Senior Newsletter-"The Sequoia" (currently paused)
Wood Dale Park District residents, 55 and better, are able to receive our monthly senior newsletter “The Sequoia.” If you are interested in receiving the newsletter, please call the Park District (630-595-9333) to place your name on the mailing list.
