Park District Resident

A Wood Dale resident is someone who has their permanent residence within the Park District boundaries.  Even though you may own property within the Park District boundaries, you are not considered a Park District resident unless you reside therin.  If you are a first time registrant, you will need to provide proof of residency for all members within your household that you reside within the Park District boundaries to receive Resident status.  A house contract, personal check, utility bill, etc. are acceptable forms of proof.  A school report card, school photo ID, doctor’s bill with the child’s name and address on it, library card (for pool passes only), medical insurance card, etc, are acceptable forms of proof for children.

Resident Policy

Those Wood Dale addresses not in the taxing district of the Wood Dale Park District can pay a yearly “Membership Tax.” The fee of $50.00 per year per household enables you to receive the same resident benefits that a Wood Dale Park District resident receives for all programs at the Recreation Complex (excludes Salt Creek Golf Club).

Non-Resident Registration Policy

Program participants residing outside the boundaries of the Wood Dale Park District are required to pay an additional registration fee for trips and programs. All fees will be listed in the brochure for each program labeled as NR.

Corporate Rate Policy

In August 2008, the Park District approved a corporate rate policy on group exercise classes, some adult classes, camps and individual pool passes. To receive the corporate rates listed in the selected programs, individuals must meet the following requirements upon registration: Must be employed by a company residing within Wood Dale Park District or City of Wood Dale boundaries, be able to provide verified employment on company letterhead and present a valid photo ID.  We are pleased to offer this discounted rate to our Wood Dale businesses and corporations so you may take advantage of our quality programs and facilities.

Insurance Policy

Wood Dale Park District assumes no responsibility for personal injuries or loss of personal belongings while using District facilities or parks. It is recommended that anyone enrolled in a specialized program, sports activitiy, or using the facilities and parks provide this coverage within their own family insurance program.

If the park district is unable to resell your ticket, you forfeit your complete registration fee.

Return Check Policy

We will gladly accept personal checks in payment of registration fees.  If for any reason a check is returned to our office marked “NSF” we will contact you.  You will then be required to submit a full cash payment, as well as a $15.00 bookkeeping fee.
