Wood Dale and Itasca Park Districts are cooperatively offering a youth summer basketball league specifically designed for children currently enrolled in 1st-8th grades. This league was created to provide a healthy basketball environment with the objective of developing basic basketball skills while providing the opportunity for all players to participate equally in a team atmosphere. Games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays at Wood Dale Park District, Itasca Park District, Carol Stream Park District, and Glendale Heights Park District. Teams will be formed at random and will practice one night per week at Wood Dale Park District or Itasca Park District. Volunteer coaches are needed for the league to run.

• Player Evaluation (3rd/4th Grade and up): Week of Nov 4 (Days &
Time TBA)
• Coaches Meeting: Week of Nov 4 (Day & Times TBA)
• Practices Start: Week of Dec 2 (Days & Times TBA)
• Picture Day: TBA
• League Games Start: Weekend of Jan 11 (Schedules TBA)
• Fee: $205R / $230NR
1st/2nd Grade Co-Ed: 44020B

Important Registration Info:
– Registration can be done online or in person at the Recreation
Complex
– We are looking for both Head & Assistant Coaches – if interested,
please indicate on the registration form.
– Games will be held on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, unless there
are make-up games.
– You are responsible for transporting your child to and from each
game and practice.
