Wood Dale – Addison Sharks Swim Team
The Swim Team is open to any age group 5 years through high school. If you can swim one lap of the pool you can join! The Swim Team meets for eight-weeks, and all swimmers participate in weekly practices and several home and away meets. The Wood Dale-Addison Swim Team complies with the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference regulations. Register by May 10 to receive a free team swim cap!
Registration Information:
Registration begins April 1.
Registration is done in-person at the Wood Dale Park District Recreation Complex or online by clicking here.
Birth certificates are required for new swimmers only. The front desk staff will make a copy at registration.
Refunds will not be given after June 3.
Complimentary Beach Waterpark pool pass is available for each registered swimmer.

Mandatory Parent Information Meeting is May 22 at 7:00pm
Parent Information Night will educate families about volunteering, meets, and other important information related to the swim team.
Registration Fees:
Program Fee $185
*Refundable Volunteer Deposit $70 per family. Refundable volunteer deposit will be collected separately at Parent Information Night.
Want to learn more before registering?
Members of the Parents’ Club will be available to discuss the Swim Team in-person at the Recreation Complex on Wednesday, April 10 from 6:00 – 8:00pm and Saturday, April 27 from 11:30am – 1:00pm.
Trial Week – May 28 – May 31, 5:30 – 7:00pm
Trial week allows swimmers to check out the swim team and determine if it something in which they would like to participate. Swimmers must be registered in order to participate in Trial Week.
Practices Start Week of June 3
Practices will be held at the Beach Waterpark. The first week of practice will take place between 6:00 – 8:00pm due to school still being in session. After the first week, practices will be held Monday – Friday, between 7:00 – 10:00am There will be different time slots for each age group. Time slots and a schedule will be provided after registration when numbers in each age group are determined.
