Wood Dale – Addison Sharks Swim Team
The Sharks Swim Team is open to any age group 5 years through high school. If you can swim one lap of the pool you can join! The Sharks Swim Team meets for eight-weeks, and all swimmers participate in weekly practices and several home and away meets. The Wood Dale – Addison Sharks Swim Team complies with the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference regulations. 
Registration Information
• Registration begins April 1
• Register online at wdparks.org or in-person at the Wood Dale
Park District Recreation Complex, 111 E. Foster Ave. Registration is
not accepted at Addison Park District.
• Birth certificates are required for new swimmers only. Front desk
staff will make a copy.
• Mandatory Parent Information Meeting is May 19 at 7:00pm
• Refunds will not be given after June 2
• Complimentary Beach Waterpark pool pass is available for each
registered swimmer

Program Fee $190
*Refundable Volunteer Deposit $70 per family
*Refundable volunteer deposit will be collected separately at Parent Information

Parent Information Night
Monday, May 19 7:00 – 8:00pm
Parent Information Night will educate families about volunteering,
meets, and other important information related to the Swim Team.
NEW! Swim Team/Summer Camp Transportation
Transportation will be offered from morning practice to
Wood Dale Park District Summer Camp. Wood Dale Park
District staff will transport swimmers from practice to
the Recreation Complex for Summer Camp. Child must be
registered for both the Swim Team and Summer Camp.
Trial Week: May 27 – May 30, 5:30 – 7:00pm
Trial week allows swimmers to check out the Swim Team
and determine if it is something in which they would
like to participate. Swimmers must be registered to
participate in Trial Week.
Practices Start Week of June 2
Practices will be held at the Beach Waterpark. The first week of practice will take place between 6:00 – 8:00pm due to school still being in session. After the first week, practices will be held Monday – Friday, between 7:00 – 10:00am. There will be different time slots for each age group. Time slots and a schedule will be provided after registration when numbers in each age
group are determined. Practices are held during the week and meets are held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Participation in practices and meets is encouraged, but not mandatory.
