Summer Camp

Welcome to Summer Camp!

Forms will also be available at the Recreation Complex Front Desk. Summer Camp registration must be done in-person during registration hours. Please note, that the deadline for week to week summer camp registration is the Thursday before each session. Payment plans are available at registration. Contact Dan Lescher at 630-948-0843 with any questions or payment plan information.

Refunds
Refund requests for camp must be applied for in writing, a minimum of one week prior to the start of each session. All refunds will be subject to a $5 processing fee. Refunds will not be given for vacation or missed days of camp.

e-PACT
The ePACT network will be used to collect all medical and emergency contact information electronically. After registration is complete, you will receive an email invite to complete your free account. Please note: the email you provide on the registration form will be the address used to invite you to create an ePACT profile for your camper.

We ask that you provide the following information when setting up the ePACT profile:

  • List at least TWO emergency contacts that can be called on to pick up the child in case a parent/guardian is unavailable.
  • Children with allergies or conditions that may require medication to be administered by camp staff MUST have a Permission to Dispense Medication form included with their ePACT profile. A link to the form can be found on ePACT or can be requested from the Front Desk.*
  • If you would like for a parent(s) of another camper to have the ability to pick up your child from camp, please list them as an Emergency Contact and inform staff on the first day of camp.

*Campers without a completed ePACT and/or Permission to Dispense Medication form will NOT be allowed at camp.

 

Funshine Camp (Ages: 3 years – Entering Kindergarten)

This summer, Funshine Camp staff are eager to incorporate play-based themes into the various arts and crafts, story-times, and games for your preschooler this summer! Each week’s camp activities will vary with both indoor and outdoor recreation that will be communicated through flyers and newsletters sent home weekly. All participants must be toilet-trained to participate in this camp. Our goal is to provide enriching and positive experiences in a safe environment for our campers! Children must be 3 by June 1, 2022. Participants should bring a lunch and drink each day. The most up-to-date guidelines regarding COVID-19 will be used to determine any modifications with operating procedures.

Sunsational Camp (Entering 1st – 5th Grade – Fall 2022)

Get ready for a summer of fun like no other in this year’s Sunsational Summer Camp. Campers will experience a variety of activities including exhilarating games outside and in the gym, unique crafts suited for all ages, team building activities, and plenty of other ways to keep campers laughing and smiling! Campers will be visiting The Beach Waterpark every Monday & Friday (weather permitting) along with exciting field trips each Wednesday. Lunches will be the responsibility of the parent to provide, while snacks will be provided to campers at no cost. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe environment where we can manifest positive experiences for your child. The most up-to-date guidelines regarding COVID-19 will be used to determine any modifications with operating procedures.

Camp Fees:

Flex Option (3-days) $107 R / $117 NR / $112 Corp
Summer School Option* $87 R / $97 NR / $92 Corp
*Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 12:00 pm – 4:00pm
Due to Wednesdays being field trip days, Summer School service will not be available on Wednesdays. Bus service either to-or-from the Park District will be provided to children enrolled in the program.

Adventure Camp (Entering 6th – 8th Grade – Fall 2022)

This Summer, the Adventure Camp returns and is ready for those looking to break out of the mundane and check out this opportunity to take fun to a whole new level! Participants will take part in a variety of activities including team building games, sports, art projects, and interesting challenges! Campers will spend most of their days at The Woodlands at White Oaks. Here, they will have green spaces for games, multiple forest paths, and a whole building dedicated to the different activities in store this summer. The camp will also visit The Beach Waterpark every Monday and Friday of camp (weather permitting). This summer, we have some amazing trips the campers will take every Thursday of Camp. Lunches and snacks will be the responsibility of the parent to provide.

For your convenience pre-and post-camp care options are offered. These options allow parents to drop off as early as 7:00am and pick up as late as 6:00pm for an additional cost per week/day. You must register separately for extended camp care. A full payment for each week must be made at the time of registration.
