May: Seniors enjoyed a sponsored lunch from Wood Dale Park District, and a presentation from Sarah at Athletico.
June: Wood Dale Senior Club has enjoyed and abundance of visitors! Wood Dale Police department has a new K9 and we were lucky enough to meet Cash and his handler Officer McGlynn.
July: July was one of our biggest yet, we encouraged members to bring a guest and enjoy a Summer themed picnic and Ice Cream! Following lunch, we hosted our first, Senior Resource Fair exclusively for our members and guests. We had 20 vendors, and our members were fortunate to meet some wonderful community partners from the City, Police and Fire Departments and new partners and sponsors. Thank You to Kit from Humana for sponsoring the lunch. It’s a great time to be a member of the Club.
