Wood Dale Park District will be hosting an outdoor event at Central Park (located at the corner of Elmhurst and Central) on Monday, June 26th at 12 pm. Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi will present a ceremonial check for $324,475 in community funding for the Central Park Phase 2 Redevelopment Project!
Central Park Phase 2 will include a two-bay swing set, tot-play features, and adult fitness stations. The new components to Central Park will further enhance this site and make it an enticing destination for children, adults, and seniors in the neighborhood and community. Included is a rendering of the new features.
